After looking at how some AR glasses work…
There are some AR glasses that project right into your retina and claim to be fine to use with prescription glasses. Would the actual prescription affect the projected image to make it work for your eyes? Or is it the type/method of projection?
If it's the latter, would it be reasonable to assume that soon we'll be able to have glasses for visually impaired people (macular degeneration, chronic cataracts and other not complete blindness) that could help them function normally and essentially regain their vision?
Does anyone know about any problems with this idea? If it already is a thing, does anyone know of organizations doing trials or anything with it?
