iOS AR app that allows moving 3d models in all planes?

I’m trying to find an iPhone/iPad app with AR where I can load my model and move it not only on the floor/table and/or resize but also but up and down. In other words, to move it freely in the air (all 3 planes, not only horizontally X/Y but also vertically on Z).

I want to overlay a 3D model (brain CT-scan, tumor, vessels) on the patient's heading AR

For example, we have this head, and I would like to load a 3D model (stl, ply, obj, etc) suspended in air or may be attached to some references point stuck on the patient’s head.

Can someone give me a hint on how to do this? Is there an already app for that or should I build a new one?
