Hololens, hololens 2 and magic leap all have fairly unimpressive 30-40 degree horizontal FOV. But your eyes can see 156 degrees horizontally. I’m just wondering from a technology or physics standpoint why is that so difficult to create that these major companies struggle to get anything above 40 degrees fov even though that makes the AR experience fairly unimmersive.
