sounds like something that should come out of the box, does ar foundation doesn’t have text recognition?

I will be doing my grad project for systems enginnery soon and I would like to do an AR-related project, However upon talking with teachers I found out that most of the AR projects failed because they weren’t able to solve what they call the user upload issue, the app is supposed to allow the user to upload data and models to the app by themselves and have it work with minimum effort.

Is there any project that will bypass this issue? Is there any method to fix the issue that the teachers aren’t aware of?
