Hey there, I’m really new to the whole AR/VR world and now I wanted to use AR for a communication campaign. The last few days I was watching tutorials about Spark AR and how to create filters and effects with the application. But now I’m just wondering if there is any possibility to upload the filter on the web, so that the people who see the campaign and scan the QR code, don’t necessarily need Instagram or Facebook for seeing the creativity.

The idea is to add a QR code on a printed poster which people can scan to enter and experience AR.

Hi there,

I have been thinking about how AR should be used in retail and e-commerce, however, as I am thinking about it more, it seems like AR hasn’t really taken off in helping people preview products before purchasing them.

I know there are apps like Augmented and Wanna Kicks that attempt that but AR doesn’t seem like a mainstream thing that people use. I think we are still at the stage where we would rather look at a photo of the product rather than 3D model and I am not sure if we will ever change.

One thought that came to mind is that we do not have AR glasses, simple explanation.

Wanted to hear someone else’s thoughts on why we would rather buy shoes and other products by looking at an image and not 3D model.
