3D sculpture to be experienced by anyone with a link in a specific location (from a new to this artist)

Hi, I am so inspired by this group and just wanted to ask your advice, I wanted to create a 3D sculpture and place it, basically geolocate, for a website where users can experience the sculpture in a specific location given the link/qr code for the web… Augmented Reality & /u/Current-Ad-5406

AR React Native?

Why are there no courses on how to make non-game AR apps?!

Found Freecodecamp AR tutorial, but it’s so tiny.

I want to create an iOS/Android app with AR function. Can I create the app itself with React Native? then add AR?

I’m really clueless as information is lacking on the web, and I’m not doing this for a career, but a startup, so my learning barriers are low (I don’t need to learn a whole programming lang.).

[Novice] Aspiring AR Dev… where should I start?

I’m very interested in making AR apps for a career, particularly with swift. Anyone know any good starting places? I have some general knowledge of xcode from taking a mobile app development class at my community college. I was looking at some tutorials to make some pretty basic apps but I’m having a little difficulty following along because I’m not familiar with some of the 3D model software and I’m basically trying to teach myself it. Is this the only way? just putting in the work and trying to understand? Or is there something out there that holds my hand? thank you very much (didn’t mean to rhyme)

A simple 3D view of the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover created in 5 mins using our platform https://vark.fbrk.in. Apologies for slow loading times and bugs if any. Currently AR only works on Android phones that support it. We are a small team so any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I’m a spatial designer not a programmer! HOW DO I BEGIN AR

I’ve posted on this forum recently and got a lot of helpful comments. However I think all the suggestions I got were in a different direction so I might b=need to rephrase this.

I am an architecture student! I don’t know programming at all. And if I can go about this journey without becoming a programmer that would be great. I know how to use a lot of 3D softwares (rhino, blender, CAD etc.) and have further worked with Lens Studio and Spark AR.

I want to develop an AR world, which can be seen through the phone. I don’t want to make an app. I just want to design 3D models that I can place in specific geographic locations. So that when people go to this place they can see these 3D models on their phone in that space.

Is there a program that already exists that I can do this in? Or is this not possible to do without an app.

Also how does Unity come into this? Is it the program that will allow me to place my 3d models in the space? is it the program which I will have to make an app on?

I’m super confused as I’m not finding the right information for someone in my position, as all of them start to point towards some sort of programming or app development.

Thank you so much for your responses!!

Collaborative AR

Hey everyone – would love your thoughts on this!

I’m evaluating whether something like this is possible via WebAR or native app. The idea is to have a piece of AR content/experience that is accessible by people in different locations. It could be a portal type visual or 3D object. Could two people sitting in different living rooms watch the same AR experience in real-time? Would this require a cloud based application?

Many thanks in advance
