I’m trying to develop an AR space where I populate a building with a bunch of 3D work. All these models are placed in very specific rooms for people to find. Like an AR museum.

I want to know what platform I can use to be able to create this space? I want to make sure that each 3D model is places geographically and spatially in this exact space. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Hi all, hope I’m asking this correctly.

Does anyone know of any companies or services that will important, format, and display information for augmented reality for use in repair and maintenance of equipment.

I’m a big believer that the killer app in augmented reality is the ability to look at a complex machine, have the system identify components using image recognition, and the allow the user to pull up repair info, troubleshooting info, reorder info. I’m sure big companies like Ford and GE will make their own AR databases in house. But are their services for smaller companies who don’t need full time AR teams? Are their tools that assist in the creation of the databases?

My first thought was companies like PTC and Autodesk, but I wasn’t sure.

For reference, I’m a mechanical engineer, long history of design, big believer in AR, but also pretty sure I need to learn more.

my mum is an artist, she paints oil on canvases. My dad and I manage her work.

I’ve been searching for a way for her customers to project her paintings at scale on the walls of their home. So far no luck, I’m a little bit lost in the huge variety of solutions I could find on the internet.

Could you guys help ?

Ideally, I would love to have a dedicated app that customers can download (on Android first) to then project any of her available paintings on their walls.

I have a budget of €100/month for this.
