I want to start developing for AR. I’ve already been building some simple AR mobile apps. I’d like to start making some experiences for a headset. Which headset should i look into? Hololens? Magic Leap? Nreal? I can afford the Nreal but is it worth getting? I don’t want to buy something not worth developing for. If I get the hololens, my wife will divorce me hah. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Which one do you have? Why did you pick that over the others?

There are some AR glasses that project right into your retina and claim to be fine to use with prescription glasses. Would the actual prescription affect the projected image to make it work for your eyes? Or is it the type/method of projection?

If it’s the latter, would it be reasonable to assume that soon we’ll be able to have glasses for visually impaired people (macular degeneration, chronic cataracts and other not complete blindness) that could help them function normally and essentially regain their vision?

Does anyone know about any problems with this idea? If it already is a thing, does anyone know of organizations doing trials or anything with it?
