My first AR filter is now live! Feels great seeing random people already using it. (Link to try out in comments)

AR / 3D VFX apps for ipads?
I’m helping out with a STEM education program for middle/highschoolers where we teach concepts of coding, tech and 3D modeling – mostly to low-access youth. Previously we were using 3D printing/CNC to engage students with the models they were making but with the remote learning stuff it’s much more difficult. I thought putting their models in AR especially in a video/ effect that could be used as social media content would be an excellent way to get students engaged- and possibly even interested in pursuing STEM/3D modeling/VFX long term. Problem is a lot of these students have limited or no access to computers – thus we are limited to using programs that can be run on the ipads we lend to each student.
Anyone have experience with iPad apps for creating filters or AR effects? Ideally something towards the basic functionality of snap lens or spark studio (obviously paired down to run on the ipad) where students can import 3D models they have made and export/share videos or the AR effect itself – some sort of visual programming element would also be a major plus. A browser based system or other low-computational requirement program could also be useful.
Wiarframe and Torch AR are the two I’ve seen that look potentially applicable – haven’t had a chance to test them.
