Career in AR / XR with a background in exhibit / museum / interior design?
Hi guys – I’m looking to transition out of the field of ‚physical‘ design / architecture as I feel it’s tremendously undervalued and often demanding with a lot of (unpaid) overtime and relatively low salary.
I’m thinking of jumping into virtual / augmented spatial design and will be commencing courses on Unity & C#.
Would you be able to advise if this is a viable and more sustainable path for someone like me who is creative / loves spatial design and technology?
Any other other suggestions? Also steps on how to best transition careers would be much appreciated 🙂
Thank you!

Meta won’t be able to deliver this type of integration by using Android & commodity chips
which is weird bc this presentation is from Reality Labs …
