Overlapping of the 3d model in AR

Hello! When I make a AR scene using Unity and Arcore, a 3d model is always 100% visible, even when I try to overlap it with any object or hand. Is it possible to make 3d object to have same visuals like in VR, so that I could put my hand in front of it, partly overlapping it? I know there is an API depth thing that detects the difference it distance between objects, but I’m not sure if has something to do with it. There is a paper about it on YTube but I don’t understand how it works. 🙂
