8th Wall vs custom WebAR build
I'm wanting to build a WebAR app similar to leaving a virtual note on a kitchen countertop for other users to view. My understanding this will require some form of anchors (persistent viewing for users that visit the indoor environment).
Based on my initial research, 8th Wall could implement this though it is costly for commercial purposes.
How difficult is this to build from scratch as a custom build using an existing WebAR library (three.js, babylon.js, etc)?
Or best to go with 8th Wall for MVP?
I'm not a programmer but have a basic understanding and am willing to learn or partner.
Appreciate any feedback!
