I’ve seen a few archived posts here looking for alternatives to HP Reveal (formerly Aurasma) now that it’s shut down. I went through the links in those threads, but haven’t quite found anything that makes the cut for me. Now in August 2020, I’m wondering if anyone has new leads?

Some of the appeal of HP reveal had to do with it being - free to download the app scanner and create AR using their image bank or your own uploads - simple to use for non-coders/ non-developers - your image was the marker, rather than having a QR code (like Flipgrid does)

I’m a complete novice with this stuff but have been intrigued with possible use in the classroom. The topics I teach don’t lend as well to AR, so I liked fiddling around with HP reveal because it was free and easy to figure out.
