Does anyone know of a technology that uses AR to overlay real-time footage instead of CG 3d objects AND would only require a mobile device/tablet as opposed to goggles?
I'm visualizing something like Serac in Westworld, but instead of him being projected directly into the space he would appear in the user's space using an AR app on a mobile device. Is this even possible yet?
