A feature in iOS 14 that’s not talked much about are ARKit’s new Geo Anchors. These let AR apps accurately position you in areas where GPS can be unreliable, like around tall buildings. Here they are in WikiCompass.

looking for techies for open-source real-life AR project
hello! I’ve got my startup, mean-bean, which is an AR pocket projector enabling people to have wearable and screen free remote interactions. We’re in the mvp stage and whatnot. However, I want to open source the first prototype (hardware + projection mapping software) and release it to the maker community as I realised there’s barely any resources on this topic. would anyone with python/ opencv skills be interested in working with me to make an open-source pack?

AR keyboard?
I saw a video of Facebook having a hand gesture vr keyboard. I was wondering if gestures would be the only way it would work or if you could have like an augmented keyboard mapped to your table to “type” on. Would this be possible, I’m not sure how the… Augmented Reality & /u/goprogamer321
