Hi everyone,
I’m a beginner in the AR field and was wondering what the best way to achieve the task in the title was. I realize this is probably not a very unique question, but looking online most of the stuff I could find was using blender and/or unity + vuforia along with a ton of manual work. Is there a better way to do this automatically (assuming I have some control over how the pictures are taken i.e. not all from the same angle/without terrible lighting) ? Any pointers would be really helpful, thank you!

I’m wondering if others can help me find applications of AR technology that would apply to the civil engineering profession? This could include design of landscapes (think university campus or town planning), infrastructure like water, sewer, or stormwater, landscape architecture design, or land surveying? Perhaps the examples would be focused on communicating design intent to an Owner, assisting the engineer with technical design, evaluating design choices in the field, or construction site inspection.
