5 Ways AR Training Can Level Up Manufacturing Industry

Manufacturing companies end up in a production crisis in their run after high turnover rates. Lack of effective and consistent workforce training results in a subsequent skills gap. Augmented reality is a valuable technology that would enforce industri… Augmented Reality & /u/Yepparofficial11

How to Make An AR Art?

As an Artist myself, i am really fascinated by how the art comes into life with the help of AR. So i decided to learn AR from scratch. I did learn Unity+Vuforia and Spark AR but the results were not satisfactory. It doesn’t look realistic. I want to achieve results like these:

https://youtu.be/_1uJjT4bRKI

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GVMVyg152A_76cB0jrIz6vVgYvqUNDdq/view?usp=drivesdk

But the 3D object and the Video Playback doesn’t stick to it, like really glued to each other. So how can i achieve this result?

P.S. I am ready to make this from scratch, i don’t wanna spend on subscriptions :/

How to Build A Unity AR App for Scale?

I have been searching for a while but couldn’t find something useful. Hopefully this will be solved by some geniuses from this community 🙂

So basically, if you are familiar with Unity+ Vuforia for Image Detection then you’ll easily understand what i am trying to say.

If we want to create an app where when a User points on an Image Target, a respective Video Gets played on it. ( Example (First 2 secs) : https://youtu.be/CNPJlLYnbqU )

Now we generated an apk from this and uploaded it on the App Store. What if we want to add more Image Targets and the Subsequent Video Playbacks in it without disturbing the User to make him update again and again.

How is this possible?

Here is the example of what i nearly want to replicate but not the same : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.soundwaveart.app (They have used Unity for creating the app)

I will be happy if any genius can help me with this 🙂

In general – I just like creating stuff. I was thinking of doing a bigger series on more advanced creation via external software – and most of it would be applicable to other platforms out there beyond our own. Any interest in a "from beginning to end" low-level tutorial for this kind of stuff?

No- or low-code way to quickly make an AR game?

I want to make a very simple AR game, very quickly. Ideally, there would be a library of gameplay templates that I am allowed to take and tweak and use as my own. I’d also like to do it using no-code or low-code tools. I know it’s a lot to ask, but… Is there a platform or system that would do this?

Edit 1: Ideally, I’d like to publish a WebAR experience but without relying on a platform like Zappar. Does this significantly increase the difficulty? I’m trying to avoid a monthly fee.
