I’m the founder of Ziawe.com a startup that is attempting to build Augmented Reality hardware.

I have done a lot of research in the last 2-3 years and have been developing the company activities for the last 2 years. We have a Kickstarter that ends in 69 hours: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/caraveo/building-the-impossible-augmented-reality-glasses?ref=user_menu

We are attempting to create a platform. Meaning Hardware-infrastructure combo. We want to be the defining company when it comes to AR hardware. We call the hardware „Iris“ like the Greek goddess of Rainbows who was the messenger of the gods.

We have been denied a ton of Grants, Loans, and general Business financing so I have been bootstrapping the startup for the last 2 years out of pocket. We did receive access funds from Amazon’s AWS startup program to build the web aspect of it.

I am to a point where I am seeking any type of positive feedback, or help; be it financial or developmental.

Our Kickstarter is at 10% and I just wanted to ask for your help to share it! Back Ziawe and that would be even better!

We are in the process of finally building our prototype circuit board, but the design itself is so expensive. (Not to mention ordering the assembled circuits.) This is how we want to do it though. A well-designed circuit board with only the hardware that is required to realize our vision. :]

Honestly, the way I look at it is there are going to be a ton of companies that develop their own AR hardware. Kinda like there are hardware companies like DELL, HP, COMPAQ, APPLE, MS, META, GOOGLE, etc. Each company brings its own talents to the table. ZiaWe wants to be a hardware company. :0. We believe in fair consumption and that consumers should have a choice. If one company dominates the entire industry, it would be literal enslavement.

We were attempting to contract with the U.S. AirForce to bring our concept to Airmen who were off-duty as a peripheral/auxiliary device that they could use when they are in out of combat situations. Unfortunately, we were not accepted for the program, but we will apply again!

Any resources or research you could share, I would be truly thankful for help! I would also like to know your thoughts and opinions! If you have any questions also, I would love to hear them!
