I am looking to create an AR experience for a public plaza, with the entire plaza ideally being saved in memory, so that when the user pops on their AR glasses at any point within the plaza, the glasses know exactly where the user is and what to display there. My question is – how big can a ’saved‘ environment be in an AR application? I have only seen AR applications in highly localized environments, such as a bedroom or a tabletop, with those environments usually being mapped out on the spot by the AR device. Apologies if this is a dumb question, I don’t have much experience with AR.

We’ve been planning to build jewellerry and makeup live try feature through ARKIT in app and where we can design it? Spark AR? are they provide suitable format for ARKIT?

Hey guys, I’m trying to look for a mobile AR app that can do basic things. E.g I upload an image or 3D file and I can simply place it down on my wall or the ground to view. I’m wanting this so I can better visualise the work I do.
