With many rises and falls of 3D in cinemas I notice the same patterns in Augmented Reality stuff today. Don't you?
I got a recommendation video on Youtube today about the constant rise and fall of 3D movies youtube.com/watch?v=KRruoenKmss (removed link, I don't want it to be an ad). And how they eventually got their niche in amusement parks as a one-time wow-attraction.
I mean it's not the first time AR is a hot topic. It's been around since 80-s. Getting its ups and downs. And today it's on the rise. But the latest news from MagicLeap and slow adoption rates might be indicators of an oncoming stagnation or downfall.
