For anyone familiar with Snapchat AR filters/Lens 3D is it possible to activate an AR lens without a snap code? Such as using an image to activate it or similar

I don’t want to use a snap code to activate my Snapchat filter, is that the only option for scan activation. Like could I use an image or something else to activate the lens through scan activation?
