Is it better to use AR Core directly with Android Studio or Unity
Hi, I am new to app and AR development and have just started a new job in it so finding my feet with all of it. I have been experimenting with both Vuforia and AR Core and have some related questions.
Is it better to use AR Core directly with Android Studio or use it with Unity and then import the project into Android Studio? I want to use Android Studio for some of the menus and the like and then launch into the AR session with the push of a button. However I have had significant problems in getting this to work when I use AR Core in Unity when it comes to dependencies and the like.
Is Vuforia a better options? It seems to be more of a commercial option and have found it easier to export it to Android Studio and communicate with it through that.
At this stage I am looking for the best/easiest solution as I want to spend my time on actually coding rather than getting things to talk to each other. Any advice would be great! thanks.
