Due to COVID I've recently been laid off - have been doing 3D (Maya, Zbrush) for 15 years and 2D (Nuke, AE) for 5 years.
I've been wanting to get out of episodic / features and into a more interactive format for some time, and I finally have an excuse now!
I know that my experience with 3D (modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animating, rendering) and general digital art workflow will serve me well - but other than that, I'm lacking the core skill of MR dev. There are quite a few options out there, from Unity to Unreal to something lighter like Snap and IG filters .. wondering if anyone on here has made a similar transition and has any advice or comments.
