Apologies in advance for any stupid questions, I am not super technologically literate and I can't seem to find information on this that's super straightforward.

So I have a project that i'm doing that was initially going to be a physical installation but now, due to covid, I've been flirting with the idea of making it a virtual installation instead - via AR.

I'd obviously hire a developer to take this on, but I wanted to understand it better in order to see whether it is even feasible. So if someone would be so kind as to dumb this down, "explain like i'm 5", and answer these questions i'd REALLY appreciate it:

- once you've created the AR image, can you tie it to a QR code?

- When the QR code is scanned, will the AR image just appear on the person's device?

- Do they have to have a particular operating system?

- Will it require the user to download an AR-viewing App?

Anything else I should know/keep in mind?
