My name is Enrico Gandolfi and I am an assistant professor of Educational Technology at Kent State University. We are currently testing a free Augmented Reality application about May 4 1970, and I would like to share the following study invitation. The study itself is completely anonymous and monitored by the Kent State University IRB committee. Step 1 Complete the following questionnaire

about your knowledge of and attitudes towards Kent State shootings; some questions will regard your expectations about an augmented reality experience we developed, whose features can be found here (https://may4thxr.kent.edu/); do NOT try it yet, but feel free to read its description on the website. When you have filled the pre-questionnaire, go to step 2.

Step 2 Now it is time to go to https://may4thxr.kent.edu/ and click “begin tour”. As mentioned, you will access an augmented reality experience designed to teach you about Kent State Shootings. Go through the introductory slides and then: A) access the hotspots and their content in chronological order (from 1 to 7) B) spend some time (at least 30 minutes) with our augmented reality platform following the sequence you prefer. You can access this AR experience on KSU campus (if you are close to Taylor Hall) or from remote. When you have finished, go to step 3.
