Unity or native Android Studio for location based Arcore game?
Hi all, I've plenty of experience with Android/ Java but almost none with Unity. I've already had a play around with Arcore by following a few Youtube tutorials but then had a look at one AR tutorial on Unity and things seemsed a lot easier.
I'd like to create a location based game where users enter an area within a certain latitude and longitude that triggers the AR. For me to create the same thing in Java would require setting up classes for different Objects and a class to handle the Location etc. I could most likely do all this but if Unity simplifies things for me then it would be a better choice.
I know Unity comes with a lot of bloatware that makes app sizes large but someone who can afford an arcore enabled phone I don't think is worried about data uses.
Any help?
