So, my little project would be to transform a syringe being used for a shot into something else much less scary with AR. The thing is, I'm realizing it might be a little too complicated.
I have full control over how the syringe will look, so I can add QR codes, paint it, etc. The issue would be tracking it in 3D, while it is being moved.
Do you guys have any ideas on what tools would be the best for this? It seems Vuforia can do something similar, but if there happened to be an open source alternative I'd prefer it.
I'm thinking of maybe even resorting to OpenCV, but that might be overkill.
Anybody ever develop something similar?
