With the big tech companies launching AR devices next year and the rapid advances being made in AI generated art, it looks like we are in for a very exciting 12 months.
Software like Dall-e and Midjourney are now capable of creating amazing works of 2D art, and at this rate it will not be long before they will be able to create 3D assets too. This will mean the AR designers will be able to populate their virtual environments and an exponentially increased rate. When that happens, I expect AR to quickly become just like the Hyper-reality video of Medellin.
