3D touch in iPhones was so cool in theory, it literally created a new way of input! And so many things could be created around it. But...it didn't catch on.
Now Apple came up with LiDAR. Which no doubt will be in the next iPhone too. And I think they are doing the same mistake. They deliver a very cool tech to developers without asking users if they really want that or not. All examples are made up from thin air like better Pokemon placement or putting a sofa in your room.
