What am I missing?
I’ve never really bothered with AR before but I saw an interesting article, it said I would need to use it on my phone for best effect, so I duly typed up the address on my Sony Xperia X2 running latest updated Android version 9.
On Chrome it asks me if I want to grant access, then when I tap „show in my space“ a little box pops up at the bottom of the screen with an i in a circle and a close x – tapping the i does nothing and the cross just gets rid – I don’t get any augmented reality of any kind, just nothing.
I tried downloading dolphin, granted access to camera etc. When I tap „show in my space“ all I get is a page saying „No results found for „pname:cpm.google.ar.core“ it appears to have taken me to the Play Store…
Is there something simple or a phone setting I am missing? I would have hoped this would have worked without having to be a developer (which is what a quick Google search seemed to lead to, a load of techo babble that is totally beyond me!). Would have thought Google’s tech in Google’s operating system in Google’s browser would kind of work without fuss.
How do I just get this to work? The resource is at:

Which AR glasses to buy for my specific purpose?
I have a small business I’ve been running for about 8 years and currently I’m thinking about hiring someone to take over my responsibilities. Since the job requires a lot of experience-related knowledge it is hard to explain everything during training sessions and I started to consider buying a pair of smart glasses that my worker could bring with him, stream some footage to me in which I would be able to draw something (in real time) that he would be able to apply in the place of work. I am a complete newbie in the matter of augmented reality and its hardware and it is hard to find any information if a specific piece of hardware supports such application although this application seems to be basic to me. I would be glad if someone could give me the best hardware and software set for such purpose – maybe single glasses, maybe two sets of glasses (one for me and one for a worker) so that the experience would be more immersive to me , or maybe there is also another solution for the problem that I didn’t even think about. This would probably be the only application for the glasses so I don’t need a high-end expensive piece of hardware – I just want it to be easy to use and price-worthy.
Thanks in advance

Is it possible to generate a point cloud with the iPad Pro LIDAR and feed it into software such as Autodesk ReCap or CloudCompare?
I’m trying to make an app with the iPad Pro that will allow you to compare the scanned point cloud to a CAD model in real time. I’m just trying out a few things and haven’t been able to pull anything but a USDZ or .ARObject file off the iPad.
Thanks for your help in advance!
